We apologize you might be unhappy with your purchase. At Fate Cakes we are always here to answer any questions about your order and we want to discuss your concerns or comments directly. Cancellation

A general dessert cancellation must be received by calling Fate Cakes directly at (614) 219.9429 – 24 hours before order has been scheduled for delivery. All cancellations submitted online via www.fate-cakes.com, Email, social media, or other messaging will not be accepted.

For any custom dessert order we ask for at least 3 days notice before delivery and if this is a a multi-tiered cake there is a minimum of one week’s notice for any changes in the order or full cancellation.

All other requested cancellations which occur without prior notification will not be refunded. Fate Cakes also has the freedom to revoke a full refund if work has already been completed on the project; including but limited to, expedited and last minute items.

Refund

Fate Cakes does not allow refunds of any order unless cancelled within the guidelines listed below under “Cancellations”

Our bakery does not offer refunds for any reasons other for cancellations. If you have issues with your dessert and are not satisfied please contact our bakery to discuss your experience.

Damages

After leaving Fate Cake’s bakery, we take proper care of our treats during transit to each location but we are not liable for any damages which may occur after delivery. Our team will leave any packages within the best sheltered environment if there is no recipient to accept the package. We will also contact the person who ordered within a timely fashion regarding the delivery status if the box was left outside. (We will not contact if the recipient has accepted the package or another individual signed for the desserts).

Under special requests our team can bring the order back to our bakery if no one was able to accept the package – but another delivery fee will be processed before we leave again with the desserts.
